The project idea is to introduce the use of publicly available data on the energy performance of existing buildings in the territory of the City of Kruševac. The project aims to assist citizens in making decisions, with the support of the local city management, about the scale of interventions required for a building and calculate the financial costs associated with interventions designed to increase the energy efficiency of a building and consequently its cost-effectiveness. Retrofitting a building to improve energy efficiency will result in the reduction of energy consumption, through the application of innovative energy measures and systems, as well as in the possibility for the introduction of new technologies in the field of renewable energy sources. These activities are also intended to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), to the mitigation of microclimate changes and improvement of the quality of life of the citizens of Kruševac.
