EKOlogy

The project idea introduces a new model of developing a network of small biodiesel plants that would use available waste oil as a resource, starting from the Special Hospital Merkur in Vrnjacka Spa, as a significant consumer of edible oil. The waste edible oil will be used for biodiesel production that will replace diesel fuel in the vehicles that belong to the facility (hospitals, hotels). Moreover, a successful first phase of the project accompanied by an awareness raising campaign will create the conditions for launching the second phase of project activities (including mobilization of other facilities/hotels in Vrnjacka Spa and public utility companies).
